TESLA Raises Money For Foresthill Music Program
March 20, 2008George Warren of Northern California's News10.net reports: Members of the legendary Sacramento-based heavy metal band TESLA will play to a packed house Saturday night to protect a small town's school music program.
The idea for the benefit concert came from Foresthill musician Paul Holdgate, who once shared the stage with TESLA as lead singer of the band MONTROSE.
Holdgate has two children in Foresthill schools and worries about how budget cuts in general impact school music programs.
"I don't want to sit there and grumble," said Holdgate. "I want to take action and do something about it."
